Privacy Policy

We acknowledge and respect the privacy of individuals. We advise that any information given will be treated in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998.

Our website utilises anti-spam service. By posting a message, you accept that your message and other personal details about you will be analyzed and stored for anti-spam and quality monitoring purposes.

When you place an order you will be asked for the following personal information: your name, email address, mailing address, delivery address, any special delivery instructions and phone number. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and Australia Post who will deliver your order.

As a first time customer, you may receive a telephone call or email requesting more information/proof to confirm the details that you have supplied to us.

Immediately after processing your order, all customer credit card details are destroyed and no record of those details is kept. 

 

Payment methods World Wide:

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and other Credit Cards in association with PayPal (www.paypal.com) or Swipe is a global secure online payment system. PayPal/Swipe is free for buyers and you can fund your account directly with your major credit cards or from your bank accounts.

Also you can pay with bank wire transfers or direct deposit into our bank account. We don’t accept payments by personal cheques! C.O.D. payments are not accepted!

 

Pricing:

Every product price on the V-tech Australia website is subject to change at any time and without notice. The reason for said price alteration can vary and V-tech Australia will generally inform its customers of said reason.

 

Warranty:

FOR NEW PARTS:

The warranty applying to these parts are those that may be offered by the manufacturers as limited warranties, for new parts only! If the product has a warranty writes us an email and we let you know. In most cases all new parts have 1 year manufacturer warranty. The buyer shall not be entitled to recover from V-tech Australia any consequential damages, damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profit, loss of income, or any other incidental or secondary damages.  Please check your local laws and research the part you wish to purchase to insure they are the correct items you want to purchase. There is no warranty if parts have become defective due to faulty installation or if they have been abused in any way. Parts must be installed by a certified technician. “Do it yourself” installation are not recommended. All warranties and/or guarantees are voided if products have not been installed properly by a qualified licensed auto mechanic experienced in the installation of the product(s). V-tech Australia is not responsible for labour charges due the incorrect installation or fault or defective parts. Please inspect items carefully before installation.

 

FOR USED PARTS:

All used parts have No Warranty. The buyer shall not be entitled to recover from V-tech Australia any consequential damages, damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profit, loss of income, or any other incidental or secondary damages. Backorders:

In the event that our suppliers happen to have one or more of your items out of stock, we will notify you right away via e-mail, at which point we will let you know how long it will be before we can ship your items. All back ordered items will remain on back order unless we are instructed by you to cancel that item. We will keep in constant communication with you in order to keep you up to speed on the current status of your orders!

Limitation of Liability and Indemnity:

Customers assume all liability and risk arising from the ordering, purchase, use or installation of the parts that are purchased from V-tech Australia. V-tech Australia shall not liable for any damages to any person or property arising out of or in connection with the use or installation. V-tech Australia is not responsible for any damages or claims arising out of a delay in the processing or shipment of any order. By purchasing products from V-tech Australia, customer is acknowledging that it agrees to accept this Limitation of Liability and these Terms and Conditions.

 

Shipping:

All orders are shipped directly from our suppliers. Packages from Germany are usually shipped via DHL. Local Courier companies can be Courier Please or TNT.  Shipping time may vary from location of package/Supplier/ shipping service used. We will always inform you the estimated time it will take for the package to arrive. These are estimates and not guaranteed!

All packages are registered and insured. Tracking will be provided once available after item ships.

 

V-tech Australia will process all orders in a time fashion, but we are not liable for circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you updated if any problems arise. We can ship our products between Monday and Friday only. If a holiday is inside the time then we ship out the product as soon as possible as we can do.

 

Shipping damages:

Inspect your parcel carefully before signing for the package. Please note any irregularities or damage on the freight receipt. If the parcel is in good condition, open it immediately and check hidden damages. If damages are found, please notify your local delivery company and V-tech Australia immediately. We must be notified within 12 hours.

 

Refused or return shipments:

Refused or undeliverable shipments are not grounds for a refund! The shipment, if returned, will be held until we received the same shipping and handling fees to cover re-shipping! (within 14 days). Please use a shipping address where someone will be available to accept shipment to minimize problems. For PayPal user: please make sure that someone will be available to accept shipment at your PayPal address!

 

Returns/Refunds:

IMPORTANT: please notify the shipping company immediately if the parts damaged during the transportation and send an e-mail to us! We will not accept unauthorized returns! Please contact us whenever there is a need for adjustment!

You have the right to return the item if there is an issue. The time frame is 7 days. Begin of that 7 day time frame is when the item is delivered to you. Returned parts must be in CLEAN, UNUSED and ORIGINAL condition, packed in the manufacturer’s original packaging and received V-tech Australia within 7 days after you got the package. Returns can only happen once the package has been received!

Returned items will be inspected before a refund is issued. No C.O.D. refunds accepted! Damaged items must be returned within 5 days after you received the package.

Our Returns policy has the below exceptions:

1.  All products must be returned in original condition including packaging, instructions and hardware.

2.  No refunds or exchange on any part that has been modified or painted.

3.  No returns or exchanges are permitted on special order items, built to order items, custom order items, electronic products or body kits.

4.  Returning a product that you later found to be the wrong one shipped after you tried installing it’s not grounds for a return. You must notify us within 3 days of receipt so we can rectify the situation.
In this situation a store credit is likely to be given or the correct part supplied.

5.  All returns must be shipped freight prepaid from the buyer. We only pay the shipping cost back to your address.

6. Any products returned to us that not our own is an act of malice and fraud! Some items (and eventually all) contain hidden security identifiers which must be intact when we receive the product. We will not replace or return the product if it’s being passed off as one of our own or does not contain the marking. We will report such actions the postal service (for mail fraud) and any applicable local law enforcement. The item sent to us will be disposed of without further recompense.

7. Returning an item because you changed your mind or your personal situation has changed from when item was ordered, is not grounds for a refund.

8. Returning an item for a refund due to locating said item at a cheaper rate elsewhere is not grounds for a refund.

9. V-tech Australia imports most of the parts we sell direct from supplier to your door. We use very reliable and usually on time DHL. Shipping time is always estimated prior to shipping however this is not guaranteed. If shipping takes longer than expected this is out of our hands and will do the best we can to get information/ETA. Shipping taking longer than expected is not grounds for a refund.

10. If you go to your own fitter and they state product can not be fitted, we will send you to our local recommended fitter. Should they advise no issue - product can not be refunded.


If there is an issue we will discuss options and converse with shipping company prior to working out a solution.
Sometimes shipping does take longer – This is out of our control!

When a refund is issued, most times it will be in the means of a store credit and not of a cash refund.
We will discuss with you if there is an issue the possible solution. Each situation is different and we take this into account.
